The Minimax Line
Minimax machines are designed for shops that need professional-grade results without the footprint or three-phase power requirements of full production equipment. Several combination machines in this line pack a jointer, planer, table saw, and shaper into a single unit — the range runs from the lab 300p through the cu 410es, covering a wide spread of shop sizes and budgets.
Beyond combinations, the Minimax selection here includes sliding table saws (sc series through the si x with double-tilting blade), jointer/planers from 12″ to 20″ (fs 30c through fs 52es), shapers with sliding tables and tiltable spindles (tw 45c, tw 55es), an 18″ bandsaw, and a full edgebander lineup from the entry-level me 20 up through the me 40EVO and me 40ETR. A stroke sander, spindle boring machine, and copy lathe round out the line.
Formula and Class Machines
The Formula line is SCM’s higher-spec range — heavier construction, larger capacities, built for continuous production use. The Formula machines we carry include horizontal mortisers, bandsaws from 17″ to 37″, radial arm saws, and two-head sanding and brushing machines. The Class line adds a pair of spindle shapers to the mix.
