Laguna Fiber Markers
Laguna’s fiber marker line permanently marks metals, plastics, ceramics, and coated surfaces with a 1064nm fiber laser. The OM is an open benchtop machine; the EM provides an enclosed cabinet for fume control in production environments; the PM is a portable unit for multi-location or in-field marking. All three run at up to 10,000mm/s with 0.001mm resolution and 0.003mm repositioning precision. Power options run from 20W to 100W depending on model and configuration.

Open, Enclosed, or Portable: Choosing Your Fiber Marker
All three Laguna fiber markers run at 1064nm with galvanometer scanning at up to 10,000mm/s, 0.001mm resolution, and 0.003mm repositioning precision. The choice is form factor.
The OM is an open benchtop unit with no enclosure around the marking head. It’s the standard configuration for dedicated marking stations where laser safety protocols are in place. Available at 20W, 30W, and up to 100W.
The EM is enclosed, with a safety cabinet around the marking area. Better for environments where multiple people are nearby, for OSHA compliance, or for shops that want integrated fume containment. Same power options as the OM.
The PM is the portable configuration: compact enough to move between workstations or field locations. Available at 20W and 50W. All three models accept .plt, .dst, .bmp, .dwg, .ai, and .las file formats with direct output to AutoCAD and CorelDraw.
Frequently Asked Questions
What materials do Laguna fiber markers work on?
Laguna fiber markers work on metals (steel, stainless, aluminum, copper, brass, gold, silver), engineering plastics, ceramics, coated surfaces, PCBs, and some organic materials such as bamboo and marble. They mark and engrave — they do not cut.
What is the difference between Q-Switch and MOPA fiber laser types?
Raycus Q-Switch lasers deliver short, high-peak-power pulses suited for general metal marking. JPT MOPA lasers offer variable pulse duration for more control over mark depth, color marking on stainless steel, and marking on anodized aluminum without removing the anodizing. Both are available on Laguna fiber markers.
Where can I buy a Laguna fiber marker?
