SCM formula FEED 32 and FEED 48 Power Feeders
A power feeder does two jobs at once: it holds the workpiece down against the table and pushes it past the cutter at a constant rate, so your hands stay clear of the tool. SCM builds these two around the same idea and separates them by size. Choose the FEED 32 for its smaller three-roller head, which SCM describes as ideally sized for combination machines, or the FEED 48 for a four-roller head on larger rollers and a wider speed range. Shared Construction
Both feeders use the same approach to holding stock down. SCM mounts the wheels on high-stroke springs, whose stated job is to take up variation in the stock so the hold stays steady and each pass repeats the last. The support arm is rigid and adjustable in all directions, so the head can be set to suit the machining. Speed is selected mechanically rather than electronically on both models, and SCM notes the wheels are easy to replace without special tools.

What Each One Suits
SCM positions the two differently. The FEED 32’s smaller three-roller build targets combination machines. SCM points the four-roller FEED 48 at any shaper in a working shop, and claims the fourth roller brings the work closer to the cutter safely while keeping the feed even and precise. Neither is tied to a particular machine family, so you can specify either alongside a shaper or a combination machine.
