This Northtech 525 series shaper offers a tilting spindle to quickly, consistently, and safely complete even complicated profiles. The 1-1/4″ diameter spindle can be tilted from -5 to +45 degrees has a vertical adjustment range of 5″. The dependable 7.5 HP motor powers the spindle through operator-adjustable speeds from 3,000 to 10,000 RPM to suitably handle a wide variety of cutter heads and species. The included micro-adjustment fence system is independent from left to right for fast and easy setup and includes metal hold-downs and a safety guard for secure and safe operation.
