Shapers and Moulders

Shapers are the flexible workhorse of profile work in custom shops and small production runs. Northtech’s shaper lineup spans light-duty models for occasional profiling up through production shapers with power feeds and large spindle capacities. For dedicated moulding production, a moulder is the right tool: feed boards in, get consistent profiled moulding out at much higher speeds than a shaper can deliver. Northtech moulders handle standard profiles and custom tooling.

Tenoners cut accurate tenons for mortise-and-tenon joinery in furniture and door production. Northtech’s tenoner lineup includes both single and double-end configurations.
