This Northtech 525 series shaper offers a sliding table to reduce material marring from pushing through the spindle. The dependable 7.5 HP motor powers the spindle through operator-adjustable speeds from 3,000 to 10,000 RPM to suitably handle a wide variety of cutter heads and species. The 1-1/4″ diameter spindle has a vertical adjustment range of 5″.  The included micro-adjustment fence system is independent from left to right for fast and easy setup and includes metal hold-downs, a sliding-table clamp, and a safety guard for secure and safe operation.
