Built Only for Tube and Pipe
The FC-T is a stand-alone fiber laser tube cutter, not a sheet machine with a tube attachment. It handles round pipe from 0.60 to 9.4 inches in diameter and square stock from 0.80 to 9.4 inches, in lengths up to 20 feet, all inside a full enclosure. For a shop that lives on tube work, a machine purpose-built for it cuts cleaner and keeps accuracy across long production runs.
Fiber Power and Cutting Head
The FC-T runs on a 3kW or 6kW fiber optical supply, sized to the wall thickness and throughput you need. The BOCI closed-loop cutting head feeds real-time data back to the controller, and precise automated height control keeps the nozzle correctly spaced as it follows the contour of round and square profiles.
Drive and Build
Yaskawa servos drive the axes through a rack-and-pinion system on the heat-treated, stress-relieved steel frame, giving the machine the rigidity to hold accuracy during high-volume work. The electrical cabinet is climate controlled, the machine handles batch production, and comprehensive Laguna Care maintenance packages are available.
