Evans Midwest BE 424TS Standard SIP Laminating System
A 24-foot structural insulated panel is a lot of panel to move, lay up, and press without marking it or losing the bond line. The BE 424TS is the long-panel machine in Evans Midwest’s stacked-panel SIP line, sized for SIPs up to 4′ x 24′, where the hard part is handling as much as gluing.
Built to Move Long Panels
Hydraulic cylinders and powered rollers carry the stack through the system and press it. Because panels this size are awkward to load by hand, an overhead JIB crane with vacuum lift is available to lift and place them without dragging a skin across the stack.
Same Adhesive Architecture, Longer Reach
The bonding side matches the rest of the line: single-part, moisture-cure polyurethane, placed by an Acu-Track dispensing head and fed from a bulk adhesive stand with day barrel, Zenith pump, heated hoses, and desiccant column. Patented nozzles and a manifold with individual shut-off valves hold coverage even from one end of a long panel to the other.
Where It Fits
The BE 424TS runs the same stacked-panel architecture as the 4′ x 12′ BE 412TS, extended for full-length production. Shops that build 24-foot SIPs for walls and roofs are the target.
