Wysong & Miles NO. 284 Vertical Chisel Mortiser

NO. 284’s are getting harder to find with the passing of each year. This “Yellow Label” Wysong was sold by Palmer Machine Company in Jacksonville, Florida. Having spent it’s entire life in humid Florida this 284 has a Levi’s blue jean patina on it’s painted surfaces and well seasoned cast iron from environment and age. Quiet running! Mechanical power feed, foot fed power down stroke, includes table flip clamp and hold down clamp on head. It is power by a 5 hp 220V/3 Phase motor.
