Evans Midwest PF8300 End Loading Panel Feeder
The PF8300 loads panels into a laminating line from the end. It is the larger, end-loading member of Evans Midwest’s feeder lineup, built for bigger panels and higher-volume lines than the side-loading 8100, raising the stack on a hydraulic lift and holding it at feed height with a laser sensor.
Handles Big Panels
Panel sizes run from 2’x3′ up to 5’x12′, in thicknesses from 5/16″ to 1-1/2″, fed at 0 to 100 fpm. A hydraulic four-corner cable lift raises up to 7,000 pounds and a laser height sensor keeps the top of the stack at the right feed height as it works down.
Automated and Guarded
Touch-screen controls run the cycle. Powered rollers on the lift fencing move panels into position, and a light safety curtain guards the load area. Power is 480V, 3-phase, 60 Hz through a fused disconnect.
Part of the Line
Paired with an Evans panel stacker, the PF8300 forms a work cell that lets one operator stay on layup instead of feeding by hand. Evans configures the feeder to the panels and the line around it.
