Laguna’s Core Strength: The Bandsaw Line
Laguna built its reputation on bandsaws, and the line still reflects it. The CX series uses ceramic blade guides that reduce drift and heat at sustained feed rates. Sizes run from 14-inch hobbyist-capable machines up to the LT37 industrial frame for continuous production work. For furniture makers, cabinet shops, and millwork operations that need accurate, repeatable resawing, the Laguna bandsaw lineup is still the reference point.
Automated Machinery: CNC, Lasers, and Metal Fabrication
The automated machinery line runs the full span from compact entry-level CNC to industrial metal fabrication. SmartShop CNC routers cover production woodworking from the 5.5HP SmartShop M through the 3,000 IPM SmartShop 3 Excel with FANUC Oi-MF control. Swift CNC routers and the Swift MT multi-tool machine serve smaller footprints and sign work. CO2 lasers handle non-metal cutting; fiber lasers cut metal up to 30KW. SmartCut plasma tables and the SmartJet waterjet round out the fabrication side.
