Evans Midwest Horizontal EPS Cutting Tool
Before a structural insulated panel gets its skins, the EPS core needs channels cut into it for wiring. This 5-foot horizontal cutting tool makes those electrical chases, melting a clean channel through the foam with electrical resistance heating elements rather than gouging it.
Hoop Handle, Template-Guided
A hoop-style handle gives the operator control of the hot element through a horizontal pass. Paired with a template, the tool repeats the same chase location panel after panel, which is what keeps wiring runs consistent across a production batch.
Part of the Pre-Lamination Package
The tool belongs to Evans Midwest’s EPS pre-lamination tooling, the cutting and shaping equipment that preps EPS cores before lamination.
