Resawing punishes a blade. The cut is deep, the feed is slow, and any wander or chatter shows up as wasted stock. The ShearForce is built for that job: a carbon steel blade with an ultra-thin .024 inch backing and an alternating 3-4 TPI tooth pattern, a combination Laguna credits for a smoother cut and noticeably less vibration.
Thin Kerf, Less Waste
The thin kerf takes a narrower bite, so more of the board ends up as usable veneer or boards instead of sawdust. Over a stack of resawn stock that adds up.
