Coima USA RVA Overspray Recovery System

Coima USA RVA Overspray Recovery System

Sliding non-stick belt that recovers overspray for reuse (about 90% of it, per Coima), kept humidified so the paint holds correct viscosity, with automatic floor cleaning for fast color changes. Coima cites 45% paint-cost and 90% filter-cost savings. Single-component water-based paints only.

Coima USA RVA Overspray Recovery System

Overspray is paint you bought that never made it onto the part. The RVA is built to claim it back: a sliding belt of non-stick material sits between the workpiece and the suction booth, and Coima states it recovers about 90% of the overspray that would otherwise be lost.

Kept Wet, Kept Usable

Adjustable nozzles keep the belt constantly humidified, which holds the collected paint at the correct viscosity. A blade on the back side of the machine collects the recovered paint; filtered and mixed with new paint, it goes back into service with, per Coima, the same chemical characteristics as the initial product.

The Payoff, in Coima’s Numbers

Coima quantifies the savings at 45% on paint cost and 90% on booth filter cost. The machine also cleans its own floor automatically at the end of each cycle, which is what makes fast color changes possible.

Automation Option and One Hard Limit

For automatic painting plants, the wall can come with integrated suction and mounted on sliding guides, so it moves away from the operator and clears the rotation of the piece-holder bar. The hard limit: the RVA is compatible only with single-component, water-based paints.
