A 1.5 HP induction motor spins an 11-inch aluminum impeller to move up to 490 CFM of air (maximum, free-air). Two 3-inch inlets let you hook up a pair of machines, and an included 2-inch adapter steps a port down for smaller tools. It is a practical match for a grinder, belt sander, or deburring station in a one- or two-person shop.

Metal dust is abrasive and can be a fire hazard, so the U|15 uses a galvanized micro-mesh filter that resists sparks and traps fine particles for cleaner air. The steel cabinet stands up to daily use, and the 4.4-gallon metal collection drawer pulls out for quick, tidy emptying. Smooth-rolling 2.5-inch casters let you reposition it wherever the work is.

Quiet, Tidy Operation

At 71.5 dB the U|15 runs quietly enough to sit beside an operator without drowning out the shop. A magnetic switch protects the motor, and the enclosed cabinet keeps collected dust contained until you empty the drawer.
