Laguna M|Flux 5 Wet Metal Dust Collector
Grinding and sanding metal throws sparks, and sparks plus a bag full of fine metal dust is a fire waiting to happen. The M|Flux 5 is a wet collector: the dust is pulled into water rather than a filter, so hot particles are quenched on contact instead of collecting somewhere they can ignite.
Airflow and Power
A 5 HP motor turning at 3,450 RPM drives a 13-inch impeller for 3,103 CFM at 16.2 inches of water static pressure. Power is 208V single phase at 34 amps, so the machine runs without three-phase service.
Connections and Controls
The inlet is 5 inches and the outlet 6 inches. A magnetic switch handles start and stop.
Footprint
The machine stands 60 by 28 by 66 inches and weighs 493.5 pounds net, so it takes a defined corner of the shop rather than a whole bay.
