Countertop Saws

These are saws built for postformed countertop fabrication. Evans Midwest makes up the core of the line, with the 0710 handling miter cuts at 22.5, 45, and 90 degrees with electric power feed, and the CS XL and CS XLT Signature Cutting Stations adding a four-motor router system to cut drawbolt mortises in the same operation. The XLT runs a 20″ blade for taller backsplashes up to 6.875″, while the XL tops out at 4.875″ with a 16″ blade.

Choosing Between the 0710 and the CS Cutting Stations

The 0710 is the entry point. It cuts precise miters at preset angles on a 16″ blade with electric power feed, and that’s exactly what it’s designed for. If your corners get joined with fasteners applied separately, the 0710 does the job cleanly and costs significantly less than a full cutting station.

The CS XL and CS XLT go further. Both machines combine the miter saw with a four-motor router system that cuts drawbolt mortises in the same setup. A single operator can miter and mortise a joint in under three minutes. That matters when you’re running volume.

XL or XLT: Which One Do You Need?

The difference is backsplash height. The XL handles backsplashes up to 4.875″; the XLT uses a 20″ blade and pushes that to 6.875″ while keeping the same footprint. For standard postform stock, the XL is usually the right call. For taller backsplash profiles or non-standard countertop depths, the XLT gives you the clearance.

Both models are built and fully tested in Holland, Michigan before they ship. Electronic fencing with automatic positioning, laser guide kits, and variable miter kits with digital readout are available options if your workflow calls for them.
