This 15 HP tilting spindle shaper from Northtech presents an uncomplicated and operator-friendly design. The 1-1/4″ spindle has 45° of tilt, 5-1/2″ of vertical adjustment, and 5-1/2″ of capacity under the nut. The reversible soft-start motor smoothly spins the cutter up to a maximum speed of 9425 RPM, and the foot pedal brake swiftly brings it back to rest while leaving the operator’s hands free for other tasks. The control panel is intelligently positioned above the table near eye-level for easy reach and a constant unobstructed view of indicators and digital position displays.
