Lobo 3-Head 43″ Wide Belt Sander (+ Flap/Brush Head)

When we purchase a machine….we are told a story….and we then get to see if that story matches up with the machine condition. In this case we were told very little use…..possibly 100 hours. After this sander arrived we can’t say exactly how many hours as there is no hour meter. We can only say it is in better condition than the owner stated and does indeed have very little use! All 3 drums have never been dressed……until we dressed them for re-calibration. The conveyor is at 100% and has also never been dressed. Nor is there any crazing or delamination. The first head is a 9″ diameter grooved rubber-covered contact roll, with 20 HP – 1,760 RPM Motor. The second head is a 9″ diameter grooved rubber-covered contact roll, with 15 HP – 1,760 RPM Motor. The third head is a combination head, with 6″ diameter grooved rubber-covered contact roll, smooth steel contact roll, with a 2″ air-inflated finishing platen, & 15 HP – 1,760 RPM Motor. All (3) heads have dial indicators for positioning PLUS a FOURTH dial indicator on the platen. The fourth head is a flap sander brush with 3 HP – 1,725 RPM Motor. Between heads one and two you will finds hold down shoes. Hold down shoes are used to control a workpiece as it passes through the sander, making it easier to run shorter parts through as well as prevent trailing edges and sniped or dubbed leading edges. The over all capacity is 43″ wide X 5-5/8″ thick. The feed mat, besides having 100% life, is 43″ wide and 7-1/2′ long. The feed motor is 3-1/2 HP and has variable speed from 5-45 FPM. The “FPC-515” Touchpad Position Controller with LED Display for programmable thickness adjustment is in near flawless condition. This is a lot of sander for the money and condition is everything! You would need to spend at least 4-5+ times the asking price to come up with a NEW sander with these options.
