SCM DMC 3-Head, Dual Segmented Platen, 53″ Wide Belt Sander (TC 1350 RKP)

This SCM DMC TC 1350 RKP is a very rare machine. What makes it rare? It’s the combination of it’s 53″ working width, 656 hours of operation, while the first head is a 35 hp 9″ Spiral Drum, the second head is a 24 hp/30 hp dual RPM 7″ Spiral Drum/Combination Head W/Segmented Platen, with the third head being a 15 hp VFD driven multi speed head with a Segmented Platen, and following all this is a panel cleaner that makes this a very hard to find machine. Yes, it has (2) segmented platens. It’s from a custom shop and was utilized for very specific custom work and nothing else. Thus it has very low hours. It has a 53″ working width and a 6.5″ thickness capacity. Other features include auto thickness calibration, 12 hp vacuum bed, 5 hp vfd controlled feed speed, and multiple modes. There is also a manual and (4) spare platens. Both drums are defect free and the feed-mat is showing around 80% life left in it with no notable gouges, tares, or delamination at the seam. Note: Since being listed the LCD screen has been replaced. The “orange sceen is the OLD screen while the “blue” screen is the NEW screen that was replaced after the original video was made.
