Haunchers are always hard to come by in the market place. This US Concepts CHB-8 Hauncher is a very clean and well maintained. It was not a shift machine and this makes all the difference condition wise. It’s almost 8″ long spindle is 40 mm in diameter and it’s driven by a 7.5 hp motor. It has a max cutting depth of 2″, a max. material height of 4″, and a max tooling diameter of 8″. The spindle feed is air over oil and is adjustable from 0-25 FPM.

This heavy duty Hauncher is used to make cuts (notches) along the edge of the board. The horizontal spindle
moves hydraulically past the tables with the clamped board. A back up board in the table and climb cut assure
the clean cut, even on cross grain. Material air clamps and spindles motion are actuated by a foot switch.
Adjustable back fence sets the depth of cut.
