Kufo (Seco) CR-850DP 33″ Double Sided Planer (Cardan shaft drive system)

This is a lower hour Kufo CR-850DP featuring a massive 4 post elevation system with cardan shaft drives and an 850 mm width double sided planer. Replacement cost is over $100,000 for a machine with these specs. This is very difficult planer to find pre-owned…….especially with this low of use. It has a working capacity of 33.46″ wide x 8″ in thickness. A 50 hp top motor and a 40 hp bottom motor. The 5 hp variable feed speed allows for speeds of 20 – 130 FPM. The spiral cutter-heads have 8 rows of 21 inserts each. Totaling 168 double sided inserts per head with each insert measuring 30 X 12 X 1.5 mm. The current set of inserts have been turned and a full NEW replacement set for both heads is also included. The worktable surfaces are precision ground and chrome plated and in excellent condition. notes: The inserts for this machine are readily available. German made carbide can be purchased for less than $2 an insert. The only real issue with this machine is that it shows wear from sitting and not necessarily use.
