This heavily built, German Made,  Butfering Optimat 43″ (2) Head Wide Belt Planer Sander has only 1,111 hours of operation. It has a 43” width x 6” thickness capacity. The First Head is a helical planer cutter-head with Pneumatic chip-breakers: 25.3 kW (34 HP). The Second Head is a Dual Speed Combination head: 5-1/2″ helical grooved rubber drum with Air Bladder Platen. 12.5/16 kW (17 HP@1,470 RPM/21.5 HP@2,950 RPM). Other features include Variable speed feed: (VFD Controlled) Feed motor 1.1 kW (1-1/2 HP), Motorized thickness adjustment, and Pneumatic tracking and belt tensioning. This machine will ship with a NEW feed mat installed. This is a very clean, well maintained, low hour planer sander.
